As the summer trekking season approaches us, we at Bikat Adventures are preparing to have a rollercoaster season. The trails are getting ready for us, the flora and fauna are in full bloom and the mountains will greet us with the most magnificent and marvelous views.

Given the hectic work schedules and busy lives, it becomes very difficult to make time for these little adventures.

Long weekends are the saving grace which gives us a chance to plan and execute some adventures to take a break from the monotonous life.

This April, we have a long weekend coming up from the 19-04-2019 to 21-04-2019. This Good Friday weekend can be used to take on some of the most beautiful Himalayan trails. Here are some of the options for you to consider. Our batches for the weekend are fast filling. Also, since the March Offer is still on, these treks are a real steal.

 

Here are some treks for you to do this upcoming long weekend. 

 

1.) Nag Tibba Trek

This easy level trek is an ideal weekend trek for everyone. If you are not a seasoned trekker and you are looking for an adventure which takes you far away from the hustle bustle of the city, then the Nag Tibba trek is for you. The trek offers some of the most beautiful campsites and you gain an altitude of 9,915 feet just within a day of the trek.

For the Good Friday Weekend, if you leave on 18/03/2019 (Thursday) night and reach Dehradun in the early hours of the next day you can easily complete this trek and get back to resume your work on Monday morning.

 

2.) Pangarchulla Peak Trek

This moderate level trek is ideal for all those who are looking to take the trekking game one step ahead. The trails transitions from lush green farms to dense forests to snow covered path. Many peaks like Vasudhara falls, Mana, Mandir, Ghodi, Hathi, Barmal, Lampak Massif, Dronagiri, Nanda-Devi, and Bertholi are visible from the trail.

To complete the entire trip, including the trekking days takes 6 days to complete. If you take a couple of leaves and club them with the long weekend, you can easily do this trek.

 

 

3.) Har Ki Dun Trek
