Brief Description

The Rescue Diver course certified by PADI is an important course to expand a driver's knowledge, confidence, skills and experience beyond a simple recreational sport. This course focuses on prevention and management problems underwater. You will be prepared to handle major and minor dive emergencies by performing rescue exercises and techniques. You will use basic scuba gear along with a pocket mask and practice underwater resuscitation and achieve self rescue, identi8and manage stress in fellow divers and rescue panicked divers. You will learn about oxygen unit, marker buoys, floats and CPR. This Rescue Diver course is both rewarding and demanding and is very tough since you will be put in a real life stressful emergency situation to test your ability to think and act calmly to be able to save a life. This course is a precursor to professional diving program such as Divemaster and Instructor course. The pre-requisite for Rescue Diver course is Advanced Open Water, Emergency First Response (EFR), CPR and First Aid. Once your performance is approved by your instructor then you will receive a PADI certification in Rescue Diver. PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) is the world's leading scuba diver training organization and will introduce you to new underwater activities and even make a career out of it. The PADI certification in Rescue Diver is accepted globally and can be used at any place in the world when applying for a Master Diver Course. Our scuba diving courses can be customized with the addition of other courses like OW, AOW, Emergency First Response (EFR), Dive Master and other underwater activities like Fun Dives for multiple days at multiple dive sites according to your requirement. Theory & Knowledge Development

You will learn theory on rescue diving and 5 knowledge sections with the help of videos.

Self-rescue Skills

You will learn and master self rescue skills in the water and practice rescue exercises on shore.

We will go to dive sites off-shore on a boat and practice all that you have learned along with some scenarios staged by the Instructors.

Fun Dive 1

Since you have completed your Rescue Diver course and are certified to dive up to a depth of 30 meters, its time to explore some of the fantastic off-shore diving sites, reefs and sea creatures with expert professional diver at different dive sites (usually for 1 hour or 50 bar, whichever is first). This opportunity will only bolster your time spent exploring the clear water of Andaman and give you a glimpse of why Andaman is one of the best scuba diving sites in the world.

Fun Dive 2

Today is the second fun dive session since you have completed your Rescue Diver course and are certified to dive up to a depth of 30 meters, its time to explore some of the fantastic off-shore diving sites, reefs and sea creatures with expert professional diver at different dive sites (usually for 1 hour or 50 bar, whichever is first). This opportunity will only bolster your time spent exploring the clear water of Andaman and give you a glimpse of why Andaman is one of the best scuba diving sites in the world.

Miscellaneous : Who will guide us on the course?

The Rescue Diver course will be conducted by experienced and qualified professionals in the scuba diving industry. For every 4 participants, there will be 1 scuba instructor with a 4:1 ratio.

Miscellaneous : I wear powered glasses, how do I see underwater without them?

It will not be a problem because we will provide you with diving masks and prescription lenses.

Miscellaneous : What all diving equipment will be provided?

Dry suit, mask, fins, BCD, harness, regulator

Miscellaneous : Can I fly immediately after diving?

No, after a single dive you will have to wait for a minimum of 12 hours before you can fly and after multiple dives you will have to wait for 18 hours.

Age limit: What is the minimum & maximum age limit?

The minimum age limit for the Rescue Diver course is 15 year. There is no maximum age limit for this course as long as you are in good health and have an Open Water Course certificate. Please consider your medical conditions before enrolling since some conditions might disallow diving, consult a doctor for the same.

Accommodation type: Do you provide accommodation?

We do not provide accommodation during the course. The accommodation has to be arranged by you and we can help you with some recommendations.
