Brief Description

The Pindari Glacier, in the Bageshwar district, falls in the Kumaon Himalayas. It is one of the most easily accessible of all the Himalayan glaciers. The max. altitude you reach during Pindari Glacier trek is 12300 ft. The glacier flows to the south for a short distance of about 3 KM and gives rise to the Pindari River which meets river Alakananda at Karnaprayag in the Garhwal district. Trek to Pindari glacier is quite easy and doesn't pose many challenges. If you are looking for a little challenging trail with utmost beauty and Himalayan grandeur explore Kedartal Trek or try summiting Pangarchulla peak. Like Pindari Glacier both these treks are also located in Uttarakhand.
